Questions to ask a recruiter

Before you make contact, consider putting together a list of questions. Here are a few to get you started:

  • What is the recruiting process like from beginning to end?
  • What really goes on in Basic Training?
  • What percentage of people who start Basic Training complete it?
  • Can an entrant choose the job they want?
  • How often do people get promoted?
  • How do I get admission into ROTC? What is the ROTC scholarship?
  • What is the service academy admission process? How do I prepare for it?
